It offers an extensive range of lifestyle and ‘taking care’ products, clothing and accessories for babies and children from 0 to 10 years old and can be found in market leading children’s stores, interior stores and web shops.

The company was founded in 1998 by Margareth de Haas and Jeannette van Leersum, two Dutch mums, with a fashion background, who were just missing the right products for their babies. Koeka was born! The brand has become a prominent player in the baby and kids industry in the Benelux and is expanding well in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia, Japan and now the United Kingdom.

What's with the shape? Many years ago a little lad had a scrap of material attached to his soother/dummy. He trailed that piece of material here and there, but he never lost it because he could always find his favourite piece of cloth. This cloth he called 'koeka', which Margareth and Jeanette thought was a great name for their new business, creating wonderful products to take care of your little ones.
